Anna first day of Spanish school
Today was Anna's first day of school. When Anna walked in just after I took these pictures, we saw that one of her teachers was holding her hand. There are nine students in her class with two teachers. All the students are foreign students who are learning Spanish. It was a little hard today. She doesn't really want to go back tomorrow.

You can do it, Anna!
ReplyDeleteAnna,
ReplyDeleteI attended kindergarten in Mexico for a while, and remember going in to use the restroom and all these little girls following me. I was wearing a black leotard and had to pull the whole thing down in order to go to the bathroom.
All the girls watched.
They weren't being mean or laughing or anything. I think they just wanted to know what a little white girl looked like under her clothes. I didn't want to go back the next day, but my mom bought a Twinkie for my lunch, and I never wore my black leotard again.
Chaja and I bought you Sour Patch Kids and they're headed your way. (And remember, no leotards!)
